About this organization

The Painchaud House is a Community Residential Center (CRC) located in the Maizerets district, in Quebec. Its mission is to welcome an adult clientele in the criminal justice system and to offer accommodation, supervision, support and accompaniment services with the aim of promoting social reintegration, while ensuring the protection of company. Its clientele comes from detention centers and penitentiaries located in the province of Quebec.

The intervention is personalized and aims at the responsible management of the individual in the community, as well as the acquisition of relational and social skills. A therapeutic program, a plan for moving towards social, emotional and financial autonomy through job search, return to school, volunteer work, leisure activities, are all recommended means to promote social reintegration.
