About this service
The program aims to reduce denial in order to prepare inmates to begin a therapeutic approach as soon as they return to the community. It also aims to acquire self-monitoring tools that will reduce the risk of recidivism.
- Allow the participant to get to know themselves better and discover new tools to respond more adequately to the needs behind their offense of a sexual nature
- Help the participant identify his cognitive distortions and acquire knowledge in order to diminish the irrational beliefs that led him to sexual abuse
- Make the participant aware of the notion of consent according to the law, in order to develop their awareness of their behaviors that do not comply with social norms
- Bring the participant to increase his accountability in the face of his problem of sexual deviance so that he can integrate a therapeutic approach and prevent behavioral recidivism
