Open supervision offers offenders (men and women) under provincial jurisdiction, subject to an applied measure such as a probation order, suspended imprisonment, temporary absence or parole, a legal framework aimed at achieving social reintegration objectives.
In addition to ensuring compliance with the legal conditions of offenders in order to ensure the protection of the public, the workers accompany the clientele in their process of social reintegration and the development of their full potential. La Maison Painchaud monitors 262 offenders followed in the community.
