Alberta Blue Cross is an organization committed to promoting wellness and better living standardsamong Albertans. Collaborating with multiple other organizations, they conduct wellness programs, donate funds, and support research initiatives to improve the lives of Albertans from all walks of life. The provision of tools for personal health, in-school wellness programs for kids, scholarships for young adults, lifestyle advice for people with chronic ailments, and social programs for older adults areamong the activities they undertake. Through the ABC Benefits Corporation Foundation, they secure funding for their community projects, primarily from Alberta Blue Cross. They also recognize and honor their operations on traditional Indigenous lands with respect and acknowledgment of the past injustices suffered by those communities. Their ultimate aim is to empower communities to adopt proactive health measures for a more enriching life.
