The Faces of Wellness program, initiated by Alberta Blue Cross, honors Albertans who are actively prioritizing a wellness lifestyle in their communities. The winner of the program, Lauren Kennedy West, is a mother of three who is making a positive difference in the mental health community. She effectively manages her wellness through medications, therapy, nutrition, sleep, and exercise, and shares her experiences of living with schizophrenia via her successful YouTube channel and an online peer support community. The Faces of Wellness program is open to Alberta residents, with the grand prize including a weekend wellness getaway experience, and runners-up receiving a $500 gift card to Sport Chek.
