About this organization

COVID-19 Update: Our regular hours have resumed Tue.-Fri. 10-3. North Hastings Community Trust is a small, community-based agency working to address the impacts of poverty in our rural area. Initially, The Trust provided emergency financial relief to community members experiencing poverty. We are now moving towards a more sustainable model to include a community-based response to poverty. Some of the programs we have initiated include Wood Share, Food Share, Harvest the North Community Gardens, and Harm Reduction through our Rural Outreach Community Kindness (ROCK) Program. We also provide assistance in accessing other local community programs, and we are in the early stages of developing a Rural Home Share Program.
