About this service
Community Support Workers provide information and referrals, basic needs supplies, and someone to talk to. We offer harm reduction supplies such as safe inhalation and safe injection supplies, naloxone kits and training, small disposal containers, and gift cards when available. Our Community Support Workers meet people where they are. They go out twice a week to meet people along the streets in the main core to offer assistance where its needed most. We also have established our fantastic "ROCK garden" made available thanks to Harvest the North. Here, our support workers and the folks we reach work together to grow the gardens and harvest the vegetables when ripe for everyones health and enjoyment! We host afternoons where we assemble our harm reduction supplies into kits with safer sex supplies (supplies courtesy of Public Health).
