About this service
Our community support workers meet with people on the streets of Bancroft. This program was established to connect with people who use drugs and people who are homeless and/or scarcely housed. ROCK workers provide information and referrals, someone to talk to, harm reduction kits, and support (safe inhalation and safe injection supplies, naloxone kits and training, and small disposal containers). Additionally, the team provides basic needs supplies (hygiene kits, hats and mitts, and gift cards for groceries and gas, when available). People are also welcomed into our space for warmth, food, connection, and a bit of relief.
