About this organization

Since 1985, Universal Rehabilitation Service Agency, URSA, has been a Calgary based non-profit agency that works to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities in community settings. We continue to break down a multitude of barriers for these individuals and help them thrive in the community. URSA, a non-profit charitable organization, has provided services to seniors, adults and children with developmental disabilities and brain injury survivors since 1985. URSA has a variety of programs ranging from 10 hours a week in-home support, to 24-hour staffed residences, and a variety of day programs. URSA has numerous locations all across the city and we provide services to hundreds of individuals.

Many of the individuals in service with URSA have very significant and multiple disabilities and require partial to total assistance with all aspects of daily living such as: feeding, personal care support for bathing and hygiene, and 24-hour staff support for all areas of life.
