About this service
Our residential services are true homes for our individuals promoting safety, growth, learning, and happiness. URSA has many residences throughout Calgary, all of which are homes to the individuals who live there. Our homes are staffed 24/7 and provide personal care, recreation and leisure opportunities, community integration, and a safe and protected living environment.
URSA believes in each individual having opportunities to access and be involved in the community. Programs and activities the residents participate in at home are based on each individuals physical, mental, social, spiritual, emotional needs and interests. All individuals are encouraged to participate in daily house duties with in the home and in their community.
We also offer adult respite. The intent of the respite space is to provide out of home respite for medically fragile adults, as well as to provide a seamless transition option for individuals who are moving from utilizing childrens respite into the adult world
