About this service
Diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of childhood eye disorders.
This service may include:
- assessment and treatment of childhood eye disorders such as cataracts, glaucoma, and strabismus
- orthoptic (ocular motility) treatment and assessments for community ophthalmologists
- follow-up by ophthalmologists for retinopathy of prematurity in all intensive care nurseries in Calgary
- strabismus assessment and treatment in adults (by ophthalmogist referral only)
