About this service
URSA believes that services intended for people with disabilities should be developed using a Wholistic approach. An approach that encompasses the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of a person. We also believe in a team approach, one that includes the client, their parents/guardians, family, and staff members when making decisions.
URSA offers a variety of community based day programs where participants experience a variety of social situations on a daily basis, both within their community and the outlying areas. There is flexibility in programming times allowing participants to attend activities throughout the day and evening. The program is recreation oriented, allowing for learning and development of new skills, through play and fun. URSA offers day programs for individuals in our residential services and for those not currently living with URSA.
