About this service
Social Knowledge In Practice (SKIP) group focuses on social skills development for teens in grades 7-12 that have been diagnosed with a developmental disability. It will help teens build peer relationships and gain knowledge through a variety of social skills activities.This is a free group offered at The Calgary SCOPE Society on Calgary Board of Education (CBE) Professional Development Days. Participants must have a diagnosed developmental disability and be independent in their basic needs.Registration is ongoing throughout the year and a registration package must be completed by a parent/guardian prior to participating in the group. This group is capped at 30 participants.
