About this organization

YWCA Canada advocates for the rights of women, girls, Two-Spirit people and gender-diverse people. For 100 years now, we've been part of a movement to end gender-based violence, improve access to affordable housing and promote workplace equity. We advocate for gender equality by responding to urgent needs in communities, through national advocacy and grassroots initiatives.

We transform lives by providing a range of essential services and programs to women, girls, Two-Spirit people, gender-diverse people and their families; these build their capacities and create positive change by promoting their financial security, well-being and safety, in addition to opening up opportunities for them. Our organization strives to incorporate an ecological approach of social justice when addressing the root causes of inequality, violence, poverty and homelessness. Assignment YWCA Moncton exists to support and empower all women - and their families - through advocacy, education and integrated services that promote each person's independence, well-being and equity. . Core Values YWCA Moncton is committed to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for every person and has adopted these six core values to guide its work at all levels of the organization. 1.
