About this service
LAUNCH is an employment program for young women and gender diverse individuals aged 15-30, who are currently out of school, unemployed or underemployed and experiencing multiple barriers to employment. The ideal participant must also be able to attend programming 30 hours a week. Program Offers Each participant engages in PAID classroom time that is currently delivered digitally, in addition to one-on-one workshops Portfolio & resume development Microsoft programming skill building CPR & WHMIS certifications Career & education exploration Program Includes A PAID 8-week group program focused on skills development A 12-week PAID work experience in the participants field of interest Priority Youth Including but not limited to High school non-completion Indigenous Residence in a rural or remote location Lone (single) parent Visible or ethnic minority Language barriers Recent immigrant
