About this organization

COVID-19 UPDATE: Office Closed. Services offered online or through phone. The Centre for Newcomers will work with any newcomer (regardless of status) who finds themselves in difficult financial scenarios that have not been fully addressed by existing COVID-19 emergency supports. If any of your clients of partner organizations are in this circumstance due to COVID-19, then please have them apply for income support through this project. To start the application process, please email a referral to vpreferrals@centrefornewcomers.ca

Centre for Newcomers is an agency offering the following services to new immigrants to Canada during the fiscal year: (i) employment and training services such as career planning, job search assistance and skills training, (ii) English language training and (iii) settlement and integration services for adults, youth and children.
