About this service
Real Me works with immigrant youth involved in gang-related activities, or at risk of becoming involved in those activities.
Our team uses the High Fidelity Wraparound model. We work with each youth to build a team of support people who will help them set and achieve goals. In addition to using Wraparound model, heres what else we do :
- Employment and Life Skills Support
- Family Support
- Academic Support
- Prosocial/Recreation activities
- Counselling Referrals
- Mentoring Matches
We work with youth aged 12-24 years, who are:
- Either first-generation immigrants or first generation Canadians (those with at least one parent born outside of Canada)
- Currently involved in gangs, or at risk of gang involvement
- Voluntarily willing to participate
When is it open?
Real Me program is open Business hours, Monday-Friday (some exceptions).
