About this service
The Central Hastings Support Network (CHSN) is a volunteer-based organization that has been serving Central Hastings since 1985. The volunteers, regarded as the heart and soul of the network, selflessly work to deliver support to community members in need. Their roles vary widely and include tasks such as helping Food Bank customers sign up for support, maintaining inventory, picking up and stocking donated food, driving community members to appointments, organizing fundraising events, serving on the CHSN Board of Directors or Committees, and maintaining the office, among other duties. They also deliver the Christmas Sharing packages. CHSN welcomes individuals with varying knowledge, skills, and experience to join their team.
