About this service
Housing for Senior Citizens or Physically Disabled Persons capable of living independently. An entry phone system provides secure access to the building, which is located within walking distance of the Melfort Mall, where tenants can access grocery shopping, a pharmacy, clothing and gift store(s), and the Family Physicians Group.
Applicants must qualify according to Saskatchewan Housing Corporations policies and guidelines for Social Housing. Income limits must not exceed the Saskatchewan Household Income Maximums (SHIMs), and the asset limit for Senior households is currently $300,000. Seniors who do not meet the eligibility criteria for the Social Housing Program may be eligible for other housing programs, and should contact the Housing Authority for more information.
