Women who request assistance from La Maison de Maison often have several unmet basic needs due to their precarious living conditions.
Let us name, among others, the needs for food, clothing, hygiene products, medicines, transport, etc. To promote the recovery of women as well as their process of leaving prostitution, the workers therefore take the time to analyze their situation and to put in place strategies with the women so that they can meet their priority needs. .
The establishment of contact on both sides with the various actors of the community makes it possible to obtain information on the rights of women and to know the services which could be beneficial to them. These collaborations promote consultation on the intervention plan, in particular by facilitating the sharing of information. In addition, the Maison de Marthe regularly directs women to other resources that correspond specifically to their needs (drug addiction, sexual violence, health, etc.)
