About this service
Who gets free dental care?
Children ages 0 to 17 years old and seniors 65 and over who meet eligibility criteria.
Preventive dental clinics are provided at the Porcupine Health Unit in Timmins as well as in our branch offices using portable dental equipment.
Services include one or all of the following:
- Oral hygiene instruction
- Cleaning of teeth (scaling and polishing)
- Topical fluoride application
- Pit and fissure sealants
- Referral to a dentist or denturist
