About this service
The Infant Preschool Clinic is a group of community agencies all involved in early identification and intervention. Together, the Cochrane Temiskaming Childrens Treatment Centre (CT CTC), the Cochrane Temiskaming Resource Centre (CTRC), the Porcupine Health Unit (PHU) and North Eastern Ontario Family and Childrens Services (NEOFACS) hold regular clinics to screen children from birth up to their 5th birthday.
At this clinic, the child is seen by professionals who are experienced in working with children. The Infant Preschool Clinic team is comprised of a physiotherapist, a speech-language pathologist, a developmental consultant, an occupational therapist, and a mental health worker. The child sees one or all of these professionals depending on the concerns reported at the time of the referral.
