About this service
The Social Services division administers the Ontario Works (OW) program and Children's Services in Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County. We also deliver homelessness prevention services in partnership with the City's Housing Services.
Ontario Works provides financial and employment assistance to people in need. Children's Services staff ensure that quality, stable and affordable childcare is available to residents of the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County.
