About this organization

To significantly influence the safety and overall well being of rural individuals through effective farm safety education and training initiatives. As our program has no cost to participating schools, meets an ongoing need and is linked when possible to the regular school curriculum, rural schools are excited to have Safety Smarts brought to their students. Having the ability to consistently reach rural children, as their maturity and farm responsibilities increase will be key to helping form important long-term attitudes; that safety on the farm is the result of individual choices and is not an act of fate.
