About this service
Through the "Safety Smarts" program, rural children from kindergarten through grade six are taught to recognize and react safely to a wide variety of potential farm hazards. Age appropriate, hands-on, interactive farm safety lessons are taught to individual classes of rural student; with each lesson having a unique focus. This program is offered, at no cost to all rural schools in Alberta.
Hutterite Colony Presentations: All five of these presentations are available to colony schools and are customized as needed to meet their varied situations and expectations. Colony school presentations are between 1 and 1.5 hours in length.
