About this organization
The Learning Centre Literacy Association's Adult Literacy Program offers free, one-to-one tutoring as well as small instructor-led classes in reading, writing, computers, creative writing and math for English-speaking adults 18 years or older. Through individualized instruction and in-class volunteer support, adults with varying levels of abilities develop and strengthen their life and employability skills for success and independence at their own pace. Class placement and one-to-one tutoring are based on class availability, individual needs as well as learning goals.
