About this service
We offer free, one-to-one tutoring as well as small instructor-led classes in reading, writing, computers, creative writing and math for English-speaking adults 18+ years. Through individualized instruction and in-class volunteer support, adults with varying levels of abilities develop and strengthen their life and employability skills for success and independence at their own pace. Class placement and one-to-one tutoring are based on class availability, individual needs as well as learning goals.
Programs include:
Reading and Writing for Academic Goals, Life Goals or Employment Goals
Computer Basics
One to one tutoring for adults
Math/Numeracy for Academic Goals
Math/Numeracy for Life Goals
