About this organization

Vecova is a leading edge service and research organization that has been meeting the need of persons with disabilities and the community-at-large in Calgary and Bow Valley Corridor since 1969. Services are provided through an integrated services model to meet the changing needs of persons with disabilities so they may reach their fullest potential and benefit from the highest possible quality of life. A range of supports provided to children, youth and adults with disabilities includes: (1) living supports (2) employment services and (3) wellness services, In addition, professional supports are provided to persons with disabilities and their support networks. Vecova Research services provide support to the sector with design for real lifesolutions for pressing social concerns within our communities. Vecova also operates a recreation center providing a barrier free and inclusive facility supporting physical and social well being.
