About this service
Vecova offers a comprehensive planning process designed to assist persons with disabilities, together with families or guardians, to explore and define specific lifestyle goals and service needs.
Service planning is a person-centered approach. This approach ensures the services are purposeful and measurable and focused on the individuals achieving their goals and objectives.
Person-centered planning is:
- tailored to each individual and their specific wants/needs
- considers all aspects of an individuals life
- includes people who are important to the individual
- continuous to ensure ongoing exploration, opportunity and communication.
Services are reviewed on an ongoing basis and formally once a year. The Individual Support Plan (ISP) meetings are an opportunity for our clients, their family/guardian and Vecova staff to review all of the services and activities to determine if these are still in line with the goals and service needs of the individual
