The Calgary John Howard Society (CJHS) is a non-profit charitable organization that works to reduce crime and increase safety in the community. We provide housing, education, employment programs and support for at-risk youth and adults, and those involved in the justice system. These programs help to reduce incidents of crime and provide alternatives to those at risk of offending.

We believe that every individual has the right to live in a safe and peaceful society. We also believe that every individual has intrinsic worth and should be treated with dignity, fairness and compassion. As a community, we must work together to prevent crime through social programs that reduce and prevent crime, making Calgary a safer city for everyone.
