About this service
The Compass Program offers adults a safe living environment with intensive supports for people affected by severe, persistent mental health challenges and addiction issues. Compass Participant Profiles At risk of homelessness Inadequate connections to community support Require assistance with basic daily living activities such as preparing meals, taking medication, attending appointments, etc. Have been diagnosed with a primary mental illness with possible cooccurring Substance Use Disorder Registered or qualified for Saskatchewan Assured Income for the Disabled (SAID) Program, or able to secure funding/payment for the monthly costs associated Willing to work on medication compliance and case planning Priority given to people receiving care from the Dub Centre for Mental Health Program Details Participants have their own room with a private bathroom Meal service Laundry facilities free of charge Access to nursing care 16hrs/day, Compass addictions counsellor, and case managers Residents develop a case plan with the program case managers to explore and pursue personal goals of recovery. This may include recoverybased programs, coping skills, life skills development and recreational/leisure programing as offered by Lighthouse staff or in the community. Residents participate in case reviews. Staff support and presence 24/7
