About this organization

CUMFI is a community organization, addressing all of the challenges there are in the core area of Saskatoon. This includes addictions, homelessness, HIV/Aids, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and poverty. We want to help families have a better quality of life. Education is huge for us, and one of the biggest things that CUMFI does is supported living and the coming home program. We move Indigenous mothers into these homes and their children are returned from foster care. Since it began over 1200 children have been brought home from foster care.
