About this organization

My counselling style is person-centered, strengths-based, and community-based. This means that you are the driver of our counselling sessions and we work together to identify and build on your unique strengths and coping strategies.

I have over 17 years of experience working in the field of rehabilitation, including research, teaching, counselling, and management. My specialization is in working with individuals with acquired neurological injury (stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic/acquired brain injury) and those living with chronic pain.

However, I am qualified to work with individuals of all ages living with any disability (physical or mental) or chronic health condition and have experience working with individuals managing a variety of different life challenges, including end-of-life counselling.

I believe in inclusive, affordable counselling and offer sliding scale fees to those who qualify.
