The Addiction Rehabilitation Center - Upper Town CLSC and GMF-U

Addiction can be a transient problem or become chronic. The duration of the rehabilitation is therefore more or less long and its intensity can vary. As with any process of change, there can be ups and downs, stops and starts.

Goals

The interventions and services of the Addiction Rehabilitation Center aim to:

Reduce the harmful consequences resulting from the consumption of alcohol, drugs or gambling habits;

Act on the factors that contributed to the development of addiction;

Stimulate motivation to make changes and maintain new lifestyle habits;

Help the dependent person develop strategies to change their habits;

Services

Evaluation of the problem using screening and evaluation tools;

Intervention and individual follow-ups;

Various group interventions: semi-intensive group, group one day a week, group for maintaining and consolidating acquired knowledge, group Trip de cur;

For young people struggling with addiction: individual intervention in their different living environments
