About this service
The Provincial Group on Stigmatization and Discrimination in Mental Health (GPS-SM) is a group of national and regional partners in Quebec with a common interest in the fight against stigmatization related to mental health problems.
MISSION:
The GPS-SM aims to reduce the stigma and discrimination faced by people experiencing or having experienced a mental health problem as well as the members of their entourage.
GUIDING PRINCIPLES :
- The involvement of the people concerned and the recognition of their concerns
- Supporting evidence and promising practices;
- The evaluation and promotion of the evaluation of actions;
- The emphasis on action and the massage of hope;
- The vision of the whole person;
- Concern for the language used.
