About this organization

The Association of Persons with a Hearing Impairment (APDA) is an independent community organization for aid/mutual aid and the defense of rights.

  • Offer a help and mutual aid service to people living with a hearing impairment.
  • Raise awareness, train and then inform individuals and stakeholders in the public and private sector about the needs and realities of people living with a hearing impairment.
  • Advocate for the rights of people living with hearing loss with respect to disabilities and attitudinal and environmental barriers that impede their full and effective participation in society.
  • Promote recognition of the skills, merits and abilities of people living with a hearing impairment, as well as their social contributions for better integration into the community.
  • Raising money or other assets through subscriptions, fundraising and fundraising activities for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the association.
