Street work fulfills several mandates. It operates in several sectors of the city and interacts with young people who are immersed in complex and varied dynamics. Its role is to promote the well-being of all without discrimination. This work therefore requires an open mind and the acceptance of the person you meet. The street worker tries to advise and present all possible avenues to the individual with respect and non-judgment.

Street work is done with young people mostly aged between 12 and 25, while remaining open to people who do not fall into this age group (generally older). The street worker remains, due to the organization's mission, on the lookout for young people who may be running away, homeless or at risk of becoming one. Street workers can therefore, when the need arises, build a bridge between young people and the other two parts of the organization. He/she acts preventively, but also as an accompaniment.
