PECH - Community Psychiatry Program

Pech most often intervenes with people living with multiple problems (mental health, drug addiction, residential instability, legalization, post-traumatic shock or complex trauma). This reality led us to consider alternative approaches in parallel with the usual psychiatric approaches centered on diagnoses. Through progressive innovations, we have developed several alternatives aimed at defining the community psychiatry approach as we practice it in Pech today.

Pech's community psychiatry approach consists of offering accessible and holistic care to the clienteles we support. We favor interventions that are fully collaborative with users and concerted with loved ones, community and institutional partners. We are aiming for a direct impact on the determinants of health (lifestyles, improvement of people's health, well-being and quality of life ).
