About this service
The support group intervention program for immigrant men was set up in June 2020. This pilot project aims to provide a framework for exchanges, awareness and learning related to the changes, challenges and opportunities encountered by immigrant men following their arrival in Quebec.
- Different themes are discussed during the meetings, in particular:
- History of Quebec society and common values
- Gender relations in Quebec and the construction of gender
- The couple and the family
- Issues related to employment and professional integration
- The DYP, domestic and family violence, seeking help and institutional and community resources for men
- Review meeting
