About this service
This sub-group of the population was targeted because of its high representation in suicide rates and, conversely, its under-representation in assistance and health services. In order to reach this clientele, the central message of the campaign ALLUME! There are solutions encourages action and offers possible solutions based on the problem experienced.
Based on the importance of acting upstream of the suicidal crisis, the campaign focuses on the positive aspects of masculinity, such as a sense of responsibility and autonomy to promote solutions that correspond to their reality, in a tone frank and genuine.
Goals :
- Help men and loved ones to recognize the signs of discomfort and distress specific to men;
- Position the request for help as a courageous, rational and appropriate gesture;
- Develop the confidence and skill of men to ask for help in times of difficulty;
- Identify help resources.
Who can use it?
Men aged 35-49 who identify with the traditional masculine image.
