Blue Gear - Food Aid

Food security is at the heart of the interventions carried out by Le Pignon Bleu since its foundation in 1991. It is still the primary mission of its action with children and families in need. Poverty has significant consequences on food and remains a major issue in several neighborhoods of Quebec City. Over the years, our organization has developed various programs to support and accompany families. These programs include direct food assistance and nutritional education to promote the acquisition and maintenance of healthy lifestyles on a day-to-day basis. To carry out its interventions, the Pignon Bleu benefits from the daily support of a nutrition team. and a kitchen brigade that help make a difference for children and families.
