About this organization

The Mission

Violence Info is an independent non-profit community organization that covers the greater Quebec City region. It is made up of a group of women of conviction and action whose mission has two components:

  • Intervention and prevention of violence in marital and romantic relationships.

The objectives recommended by the organization:

  • Discover the different aspects of domestic violence
  • Promote self-esteem and autonomy in women
  • Promote support services to counter violence in romantic relationships
  • Raising public awareness of domestic violence
  • Promoting healthy and equal romantic relationships
  • Promoting respect and equality for women

The objectives are achieved through 4 action streams:

  • Intervention
  • Sensitization
  • Training
  • Consultation

Women over the age of 14 living/having experiences a dynamic of domestic violence
