Welcome to Beyond Words Waterloo Speech and Language Services At Beyond Words Waterloo we LOVE what we do! We combine 15+ years of clinical experience with the latest evidence-based practice to help our clients reach their full potential. We work with children and youth with a variety of communication challenges including ASD, Developmental Delays, ADD/ADHD and Cognitive Delays. We will help your child become a more successful communicator at home, school, and in the community. We cant wait to hear from you!

Great therapy begins with a thorough assessment of your childs communication skills. During the assessment we will obtain background information and conduct formal or informal assessments to identify where your childs communication is breaking down. Based on this information we will work with you to develop therapy goals and a treatment plan. Therapy may involve parent training, or weekly/biweekly sessions to target your childs specific needs. We offer assessment and individual therapy for children and youth in the following areas: *Language Development *Speech Sound production *Motor Speech/Childhood Apraxia of Speech *Literacy- reading and writing *Social skills *Executive Functioning *Augmentative and Alternative Communication We have a passion for working with children with complex needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cognitive Delays, Developmental Delays, Motor Speech Disorders, ADD/ADHD.
