About this service
We offer individual counselling and group therapy that employs a feminist, woman-centered approach that focuses on strengths, capabilities, resources and acknowledges experiences of oppression based on race, class, gender, sexual orientation/identities, (disability, age and spiritual or religious affiliation. We seek to support women to implement changes in their social and physical environment, to develop a significant social support system, to form constructive relationships with others, and to gain more control over their own lives. Our staff also provides information, advocacy and appropriate referrals.
