About this service
The VAW Program provides counselling and support to women-identified individuals who have experienced abuse at any stage of life, whether in childhood, a past relationship, or an ongoing situation. Services include individual and group counselling, workshops, and access to transitional and housing support for those leaving abusive situations. Counselling is available in multiple languages, including English, Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, and Tamil, and is also offered to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities. The program follows a feminist, intersectional, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed framework to support healing, empowerment, and safety.
