About this service
Parent Training Workshops provide an interactive space to learn new skills and strategies to support your child/youth at home and in the community.
This interactive course was developed to provide caregivers strategies to safely manage risk behaviours at home. Using Zoom for Healthcare, caregivers will participate in small interactive group sessions facilitated by a certified Crisis Prevention and Intervention: Advanced Physical Skills (CPI - APS) instructor. Using a combination of theory, preventative strategies, de-escalation techniques and discussion-based problem solving we will give you the tools to confidently support challenging behaviours at home!
