About this service
The Friendly Visiting Program facilitates meaningful connections between seniors 55+ and volunteers through regular visits. Volunteers and clients are matched based on common interests and cultural/language backgrounds. This initiative helps combat social isolation by ensuring seniors living alone with little or no family support, and who have physical impairments, can maintain social interaction. The program also serves to provide a safety check for peace of mind to clients and their families. Currently, the program is at capacity and not accepting more clients.
