Community Health Centre Program Ellesmere

The Community Health Centre program at Ellesmere in Scarborough is one of the three centers operated by Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities. It provides a range of medical and health-related services, staffed by a team of doctors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, dietitians, chiropodists, and medical secretaries. Services include medical care for both acute and chronic conditions, immunizations, diabetic foot care, nutrition counseling, and social support services. The center adopts a client-centered approach, ensuring culturally sensitive care and facilitating access for clients with and without health cards. All services are free of cost, and appointment booking is required as they are not a walk-in clinic. The centre is a safe space for immigrant and refugee care as well as for the LGBTQ2 community. The Ellesmere location operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Wednesday from 9 am to 8 pm.
