About this service
Our Gutsy Support program provides individuals an opportunity to connect with support staff and other people affected by Crohn's or colitis, to get advice, emotional support, and information about living with IBD. This program does not replace professional counselling or advice from your medical specialists. If you are in crisis or require more immediate assistance, please call 911 or visit your nearest emergency department. ONLINE PEER SUPPORT Our online peer-to-peer program provides mentoring and support to people affected by Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Applicants to the program are able to connect with experienced individuals (mentors) and others affected by Crohn's or colitis to share their experiences, provide advice and emotional support for dealing with everyday living with IBD. Get connected here. GROUP PEER SUPPORT EVENTS Drop-in during our online group support to connect with others affected by IBD. Our virtual sessions are offered on a bi-weekly basis to provide an easily accessible, safe, and confidential space to share experiences and advice on how to deal with aspects of everyday living with IBD.
