About this service
The Women's Addiction and Concurrent Disorders Service specializes in delivering group therapy to women experiencing concurrent addiction and mental illness concerns.
This group-based service operates on a core phased approach beginning with early recovery, followed by concurrent disorders skills and a transition to the community group. Additionally, the service offers some specialty programming, including addictions and eating disorders, first stage trauma, interpersonal, and cognitive impairment groups. Specialty groups are accessed through participation in the core phased programming on an as needed basis.
For information or to access the service, please contact Access CAMH, the centralized intake service at CAMH. The first appointment will be a comprehensive concurrent addiction assessment, followed by referral to the group.
